Interstate Batteries Sold Out On Super Sunday

Steve Gibby was co-producer/director/primary cameraman for a nationally airing television special featuring a behind the scenes look at the 2005 NFL Super Bowl week in Jacksonville, Florida. The program aired in March 2005 on Dish Network (Men’s Channel). The fast-paced program placed viewers at multiple smaller events throughout the week leading up to the Super Bowl. An “A list” of celebrities were interviewed. The climax of the program was POV-style access at the Super Bowl to the playing field right after the game, and candid interviews after the game in the winning New England Patriots locker room. Steve Gibby has received a national Telly Award for his work as director of the program, and his work is being considered for additional awards.

2005 Emmy Awards Central Coast Intro (1:42 – QuickTime)
Being currently based on the Central Coast, a multiple Emmy Award winner, a member of the Board of Governors for NATAS-Pacific Southwest, and having an extensive stock footage library of the Central Coast, Steve Gibby was invited to produce/direct this short piece for airing to over 500 television professionals at the 2005 Pacific Southwest Emmy Awards in San Diego (June 2005). This video piece, which aired on several large screens throughout the auditorium, gave Emmy Award attendees an overview of the Central Coast area. Steve Gibby shot all footage, and longtime SGP/Cut4 editor, Doug Dunford, edited the piece.

Being formerly based in Las Vegas, a multiple Emmy Award winner, a member of the Board of Governors for NATAS-Pacific Southwest, and having an extensive stock footage library of Las Vegas, Steve Gibby was invited to produce/direct this short piece for airing to over 500 television professionals at the 2005 Pacific Southwest Emmy Awards in San Diego (June 2005). Las Vegas Stampede Demo (2:17 – QuickTime)
Steve Gibby produced/directed this nationally airing program which featured a four-day professional chuckwagon racing event in Las Vegas. The one-hour special aired in December 2002 to approximately 45 million households via Dish Network, Fox Sports Net, Comcast, America One, and CBS affiliate stations. Steve Gibby negotiated the syndicated airings of the program. Steve Gibby received an Emmy Award (regional) for his work as director of the program, and the program also received the following national awards: Telly, Aurora, Communicator, Videographer, and Aegis.

Rizzoli’s Automotive Repair Commercial
(:30 – QuickTime)

Steve Gibby produced, directed, and shot this commercial for the client of Pandora and Company, a California Central Coast advertising agency. Though regional in exposure, the commercial features many of the elements of a national commercial. It aired repeatedly on KSBY (NBC affiliate) and KCOY (CBS affiliate). Steve Gibby shot all the footage, except for a few shots in the first portion of the piece.
