Field Production
In April 2007 Cut4 Media Group will begin shooting with our new RED One camera system. RED One is capable of cine-style and EFP style production in 2540p, 4k, 2k, 1080p, and 720p. RED One is also capable of using the following types of lenses: S35mm, 35mm still, S16mm, B4 2/3” HD. Information on the RED One camera system can be found on the RED web site at: www.red.com. We also own or rent a wide variety of other high-definition and standard definition camera systems. We have rental agreements with several entities that allow us to rent the exact equipment needed for each individual project we contract. Cut4 also has the ability to shoot 35mm or S16mm film if that is desired for projects. We analyze the production needs of each project and bring exactly what is needed into the field.
Cut4 owns a professional field lighting kit, wireless mics, and other audio equipment. We also rent audio equipment from various companies to suit each project.
We own and use several point of view (POV) camera systems, with broadcast-quality lipstick cameras that record to compact decks. We can mount the POV cameras nearly anywhere – helmets, automobiles, etc.
We also own custom water housings for water-surface shooting of action sports. We will have a custom housing made for our new RED One camera.
Post Production
Our Central Coast edit facility features a comprehensive Final Cut Pro bay. The FCP bay is capable of editing all high definition and standard definition video formats compressed and uncompressed. Complete motion graphics and audio mixing are available. In 2007 we will upgrade our editing capability to accommodate 4k and 2k editing. For larger projects we also edit at various facilities in the Los Angeles area.
Cut4 has an extensive library of royalty-free motion graphics and royalty-free music.
Web Design and Graphic Production
We also maintain a robust Mac G5 edit suite on the Central Coast for graphic and web design. Software includes the most current versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, Director, Cleaner, Dreamweaver, and many more. All Flash and HTML work is performed at this bay. |
