National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS)

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) is the preeminent television organization in the United States. NATAS is affiliated with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS), both of which bestow the prestigious Emmy Awards. The Pacific Southwest Chapter of NATAS includes over 450 television and media professionals from much of the Southwest, including Central and Southern California (excluding the Los Angeles Basin), and Las Vegas. Besides bestowing the Emmy Awards, NATAS-Pacific Southwest also mentors students at high schools and colleges throughout the Southwest concerning media production careers. Steve Gibby, President of Cut4 Media Group, is a former multi-term member of the Board of Governors for NATAS-Pacific Southwest, and an annual national Emmy Awards judge.

Red Digital Cinema

The Red Digital Cinema Company manufactures the exciting new RED One Camera System, which will be used extensively by Cut4/Steve Gibby starting in Spring 2007. The RED One camera is an ultra high definition, lightweight, mobile, S35mm digital cinema and EFP camera that acquires footage in resolutions of 2540p, 4k, 2k, 1080p, and 720p.
